I didn't believe that Russia would attack Ukraine, went to bed on February 24, reading at 2 am about the turns of planes in the ukrainian airspace and was awakened early in the morning by a phone call. Hell began.

On September 5, Witkoff and Kushner held a five-hour meeting with Dmitriev in Moscow, at a restaurant bearing the telling slogan «Всё для победы» (“Everything for Victory”).

Trump’s special envoy Witkoff and Kushner are certainly doing their part to live up to that slogan.

This meeting will go down in history as a separate deal between the US and the Kremlin, in which the Trump administration lost the last remnants of its civility.

Over the past few days, Ukraine has been facing one of the most significant political crises since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov was dismissed. According to Fedorov himself, he had serious disagreements with the military leadership over reforming the Ministry of Defense, defense procurement, and the future development of the Armed Forces. His dismissal has sparked widespread public outrage, protests, and intense debate across Ukraine.

But the biggest problem is not only the personnel decision itself. The biggest problem is the complete lack of open dialogue with society. There has been no proper conversation with the public, no clear answers to the questions that concern hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, and no understandable explanation of why this decision was made or what the plan is going forward. And we still have none.

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians publicly support Mykhailo Fedorov. Tens of thousands are taking part in peaceful demonstrations, while millions are expressing their position online. We want the international community to see the scale of this public reaction.

We are not asking foreign governments to interfere in Ukraine’s internal affairs or make personnel decisions for us. We are appealing to international journalists, newsrooms, analysts, experts, human rights advocates, and everyone who cares: please help bring attention to this situation. Tell your audience about it, request comments from Ukrainian officials, and ask questions about the reasons behind these decisions, the future of defense reforms, and the absence of open dialogue with society.

Please help ensure that this issue does not disappear from the public agenda without answers. We do not need foreign interference. We need attention, transparency, accountability, and an honest conversation between the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian society.

Please share this post. Tag journalists and international media, translate it into other languages, and tell your audience what is happening. Every repost, every mention, and every question asked helps make the voices of Ukrainians more visible.

Ukrainians deserve answers.

“On russian marketplaces, offers for the sale of Chapman's zebras have appeared, which sellers call animals from the Ukrainian biosphere reserve "Askania-Nova" in the occupied territory of Kherson Oblast. One animal is priced from 2 to 3 million rubles (~22-34 thousand euros).”

Before the 2022 russian invasion, Askania-Nova was functioning as Europe's largest protected virgin steppe and a renowned Ukrainian biosphere reserve where exotic animals and pristine grasslands coexisted peacefully.
The reserve has suffered severe ecological and operational devastation. Invading forces have driven heavy military equipment through pristine zones, and Russian-installed authorities have illegally transferred rare animals.
Askania-Nova has also faced mass fires that destroyed thousands of hectares of protected steppe, alongside severe shortages of animal forage. The situation has grown incredibly perilous, with conservationists warning of potential mass animal die-offs and permanent biodiversity loss in Ukraine's southern Kherson region.

Sean, thanks to you, we know what a true friend of Ukraine is.
You have stood with Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale war.
This is still true today.
And we know that you will continue to stand with our country and our people.

Sean Penn skipped the #Oscars last night after winning his third award for Best Supporting Actor to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Ukrainian leader posted a photo of them together on X, thanking the actor: “Sean, thanks to you, we know what a true friend of Ukraine is. You have stood with Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale war. This is still true today. And we know that you will continue to stand with our country and our people.”

Oscar for Best Documentary.
And in the acceptance speech there wasn’t a single word about Ukraine.
Not the invasion.
Not the war.
Not the victims.
Apparently the suffering of russians still matters more than the people they are killing.

Witkoff makes me sick with his "lots of good things happening" between russia and Ukraine

What good things? Russia bombing a passenger train, blowing people to pieces, burning them alive, and forcing mothers with newborns to jump out of the train in terror for their lives? Or the humanitarian disaster Russia caused in Kyiv, where people freeze to death in their homes—especially the elderly, too weak and cold to seek help, with no phones to call anyone after days without power? Or maybe when Russia murders, with drones, a married couple simply walking away from the frontline? These are good things? This all happened this week, so WHAT GOOD THINGS, YOU MORONIC JERK?
