48 Hours in Stockholm

Day 1: I spent most of the day exploring Gamla Stan, which means “Old Town” in Swedish. It’s the historic heart of Stockholm, full of charm with its cobblestone streets and colorful buildings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries — truly a step back in time.

Day 2: We kicked off the day by discovering Stockholm’s incredible metro station art — yes, you can actually take a tour to explore it all!

One of my must-see spots was Stadion, a metro station that had been at the top of my list, and it did not disappoint. I mean… who can resist a rainbow underground?

Later that day, we visited Skansen, the world’s oldest open-air museum. It beautifully captures the spirit of Sweden with historic buildings, native animals, and cultural traditions from across the country. A true highlight.
