6 life hacks for you:

1. If you go for a job interview and your potential employer or recruiter asks "what's your salary expectation?" or "how much should we pay you?", don't call a specific amount. Give a range, let's say "anywhere between 200k and 400k," and make sure your minimum acceptable is at the lower end. Most importantly, try to get insider information first to know the company's pay range.

2. Before you buy any fairly used electronics, ask the seller to factory reset the device in front of you and let you set it up from scratch. This shows you whether the device has hidden issues that a "restart" alone won't reveal.

3. When negotiating prices in the market, never show excitement about an item, even if it's exactly what you want. Let's say you expected to hear 35k and the seller says 20k, try not to smile. Still act like it's on the high side. Excitement tells the seller you're willing to pay more.

4. Before sending money to anyone for the first time, send a small token amount first to confirm the account details are correct. A failed small transaction is cheaper than a failed large one.

5. If you ever need to have a difficult conversation, do it in person or on a call, never by text. People often misunderstand texts, especially when the argument is heated.

6. Keep a separate account purely for emergencies, one that isn't linked to any card or app. The harder it is to access, the less likely you are to spend it on non-emergencies.
