a pastor said something that stuck with me. he said don’t assume your trials are punishment for past sins. God doesn’t hold grudges. that’s a human thing. keep good thoughts about God even in the hard seasons. he’s working something out for you

Six marks of biblical manhood:
1. Loves Christ above all (Luke 9:23)
2. Leads with humility and sacrifice (Eph 5:25)
3. Practices self control and holiness (1 Thes 4:3-5)
4. Teaches God’s Word at home (Deut 6:6-7)
5. Serves, not dominates (Mark 10:43-45)
6. Loves others with Christlike love (John 13:34-35)
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Your walk with God will change you in ways you didn’t even pray for. He’ll heal wounds you didn’t mention, remove people you didn’t expect, and strengthen areas you didn’t know were weak. That’s the beauty of surrender. He works beyond your awareness.
