OK let’s dive into this.

$FOMO is the first fully working token on HOOKEDpad and its main function is that it is only tradeable on the Fomo app directly. You can’t even transfer the token out. That means there are 0 side wallets and 0 bundles. Each holder counted represents an actual person holding the coin. The new era of social trading that the Fomo app has created represents a paradigm shift in trading behaviour and is bringing the trenches back towards cult communities holding cult coins. However, the platform has not had anything resembling a true cult coin within its own community. Until now. Fearless Of Missing Out is the Fomo apps tagline. It represents the feeling of having your full trading stack in your pocket at all times. It means being able to see what your friends are trading in real time on your phone and jumping in or out wherever you are and the FOMO coin represents the community of people who have embraced that very philosophy. It is a perfect setup for the community of Fomo app users to show just how dedicated and delusional they can get.

Why should Fomo care about this coin? Because the opportunity to do something crazy just spawned into their hands. The attention value in this coin being a successful cult movement could be immeasurable. I have already seen people writing theses about creating a Fomo account specifically to trade this very coin. That is obviously direct monetary value to Fomo. They don’t have to get fees from a token or hold it directly. They get all our trading fees already but the value in user acquisition? Huge.

Why hasn’t it mooned yet then, you ask?
In its first day it rushed past $5m which is already massive and let’s keep in mind nothing goes up only.
In addition, call it a flaw or a bug but the criteria for Fomo to recognize a coin as trending seems to ignore this coin because it is only trading on Fomo and nowhere else. That means the only way for users to find it so far was by seeing others they follow trade it in the feed or off-platform, most likely on X. Hopefully this will get fixed soon because the volume on this coin and holder count are surely enough for it to have stayed trending from launch.

In fact, many have claimed that @seyong and @fomo have already been soft shilling the coin on X within its first day of existence.
