FINRA gently slaps Webull on the wrist with a fine of $1.6 million for:
1. Failing to supervise influence social media activity, and
2. failing to deliver Form CRS to customers--a summary that helps investors understand the firm's services, fees, conflicts of interest, and other important information about the relationship.
From January 2019 through December 2022, an affiliate company of Webull paid more than 400 influencers flat fees for each new customer, which resulted in more than 400,000 new accounts being created during the period.
From June 30, 2020 to December 2022, Webull failed to deliver the summary that helps investors understand the firm's services, fees, conflicts of interest, and other important information to nearly 6 million customers.

Then, even after developing a system to ensure the timely delivery of Form CRS, a "sYsTeM eRrOr caused" Webull to "fail to deliver" Form CRS until December 2022.

Making matters even worse, "Webull failed to make and preserve accurate records" which would have shown the date Form CRS was delivered to customers.
TLDR:

During the same period that [an affiliate company of] Webull was paying influencers to lie to investors with promises of making millions, as a means of opening more investor accounts and increasing profits, Webull was also not maintaining accurate records which are supposed to show that Webull helped investors better understand aspects of the Webull's services--such as services, fees, conflicts of interests.

IMPORTANT:

This all happened during January 2019 to December 2022; a period that should stand out to many retail and individual investors.

Deeply flawed judicial system where criminals get away then act like they are innocent off a technicality with the law. #AtlasTrading are the trading equivalent of squatters in peoples homes who are unable to be evicted off technicalities in a flawed justice system.

I said the indictment against me was flawed and inaccurate. Some believed me and some didn’t. A federal judge did. I don’t need to show all my records publicly for my innocence, but I will show a glance. I am on central time and the indictment is in eastern time (1hr difference) I am only doing 1 allegation in the indictment, but I assure you every allegation is equally flawed. I was accused of selling all my shares of TRCH at $2.12 at 10:16EST. That is incorrect. I was actively trading this for HOURS and DAYS beyond what was alleged. In the photos of my records you can see I’m HOLDING and ADDING shares in the 2.60s and 2.70s HOURS after my 1 discord post that simply said “added TRCH.” I have pages and pages before and after these prices shown below of me scaling in and out. Why? Because we are day traders. Of course the indictment showed none of this, so I’m having to show you now. What’s more? You can see 6 days later I am actively trading this stock again with a massive position near $5. But all the indictment would show you is I sold my whole position immediately after saying I added it back at $2.12. Again, I appreciate the many of you who believed in me all along and I am disappointed in some who were so quick to believe allegations without hearing my side of the story. I encourage all of you to question anything you are told until you can verify for yourself, no matter who is making the allegations. I am forever grateful to the judge on this case who looked at the evidence and decided a dismissal was warranted to give me my life back. I will be happy to go more into detail on other flaws in the allegations in this indictment, but for now this is what I will show you. I look forward to rebuilding our community and talking more directly with you guys very soon. I spent weeks of my life in a federal prison and nearly a year and a half on a form of supervised release for breaking 0 laws. My life and reputation were both damaged beyond belief.
