On a more positive note I received a fellowship last week, got commissioned and have a production company interested in a documentary I want to make. I did all of this without the aid of an agent.. #writing #author #literaryagent

Frankly I find the amount of literary events/courses/masterclasses that are being run to help you find that agent depressing....

The US agents are by far the nicer... at rejecting. They are also faster which is good and bad. Bad because I don’t believe any of them actually have read my work.. but good because I can move on #writing #writerslife #agentrejection

And now I’m searching for a new agent.. I have sent out 50 emails and so far received 25 rejections.. most of them polite, none with feedback.
