Aren't they only in fiber optics and if everything goes right they would enter into hollowcore fiber and MCF fiber?
I have been tracking all the annual reports that do not do a conference call and do not have much of a presentation.
Here is the list so far of the annual reports which have announced CAPEX or guidance:
Expansions under construction or just approved:
NR Agarwal Industries, mcap 853 cr. Proposed 500,000 TPA paperboard expansion, construction Q2 FY28, production Dec 2029. Targeting close to 1 million tonnes by 2030 with only about 1,000 cr long term debt. Also bought a used 4.3 meter deckle board machine, 1,020 TPD, being dismantled for relocation to India. Separate 1,500 TPD plant at roughly 1,500 cr.
Jayaswal Neco, mcap 8,856 cr. 1.50 MnTPA pellet plant plus 2.0 MnTPA iron ore wet grinding at Siltara, Raipur. Brownfield, to monetise captive mine ore.
Gujarat Ambuja Exports, mcap 7,951 cr. Fermentation capacity to 1,20,000 TPA by FY28. 900 TPD greenfield corn wet milling plant at Himmatnagar by FY27. Hubli maltodextrin already scaled 7,000 to 23,000 TPA.
Rama Phosphates, mcap 428 cr. SSP expansion of 65,000 MTPA at Udaipur, total SSP capacity going to 9,79,000 MTPA. New granulation, PDM and PROM plants adding 49,000 MTPA.
Andhra Paper, mcap 1,213 cr. Entering tissue with 35,000 TPA. Valmet AB supplying a 100 TPD line. Transmission already upgraded 33KV to 132KV.
Swelect Energy, mcap 920 cr. Module capacity to 2 GW at Coimbatore by July 2026. Salem MMS and BOS already doubled 500 MW to 1 GW. IPP portfolio past 160 MW, path to 1 GW in two years.
Century Extrusions, mcap 182 cr. 9,000 MTPA brownfield expansion at Kharagpur in final commissioning.
Ecoplast, mcap 211 cr. Over 75 cr committed since 2024, capacity from about 9,000 to 13,600 MTPA.
Linde India, ammonia purification project in Gujarat, commissioning FY27. Nitta Gelatin, expansion on schedule, new plant already in commercial production. Kanoria Chemicals adding phenolic resin capacity. Orient Paper, new Tissue 4 machine, 23,400 TPA. Jay Shree Tea, crushing to 8,000 TCD. Visaka Industries talking major boards capex by 2030 without giving a number. Rishiroop, 35 cr approved against 72 cr turnover. SNL Bearings, 8 cr. Dhunseri Tea targeting largest private macadamia producer globally by FY2030.
Commissioned during the year:
Shiva Cement, mcap 495 cr. 1 MTPA grinding unit at Sambalpur commissioned and ramped with group company Bhushan Power and Steel. Combined with 4,000 TPD clinker it turns Shiva from a clinker maker into an integrated cement platform. Clinker also expanded to 1.32 MTPA.
Mangalam Cement, mcap 2,469 cr. Additional 1.20 MTPA grinding at Aligarh, unit now at 1.95 MTPA.
Universal Cables, mcap 5,766 cr. Flexible wire and multicore cable capacity at Verna Goa live from October 2025, new LV power cable facility at Satna from March 2026.
West Coast Paper Mills, mcap 4,062 cr. Greenfield optical fibre facility at Fab City Hyderabad, effectively doubling optical fibre cable capacity.
Vraj Iron and Steel, mcap 399 cr. Billets plant, 153,000 MTPA at Bilaspur, production from 27 March 2026. Full year contribution entirely ahead.
Pasupati Acrylon, mcap 536 cr. 150 KLPD grain based ethanol plant, commercial production from March 2025.
NACL Industries, mcap 4,076 cr. Subsidiary NACL Spec-Chem commissioned phase one at Dahej, 6,000 MTPA speciality chemicals.
KIC Metaliks, mcap 111 cr. Annular sinter plant, 360,000 MTPA, backward integration into blast furnace feed.
Keltech Energies, mcap 1,386 cr. New plant commissioned March 2026, expected to stabilise.
Shreyans Industries, mcap 176 cr. Synchro cutter installation scheduled for commissioning in FY27.
