@toptiertits Thank for this I appreciate it. I’ve heard this before for sure. I don’t think I’m gonna change the world or anything but this encourage me to do what I like and let my visual style and performance be the guiding star for my approach. Thank u
@toptiertits Gotcha, def didn’t want a biz plan, but I understand if the question is to broad or intrusive, my apologies. It just seems like the only advice I can find for newcomers is “start an onlyfans and viola!!” I just imagine there more to it than that. Thank you for responding
@toptiertits If you were a brand new creator today, with your first scene done. How would you approach starting today as opposed to 2020 or beforehand. I feel like I maybe missed the right moment by not starting in 2019 when I wanted to
Some straight male creators never have to reach out to women to work because the women reach out to them
I wish I could relate because constantly taking the initiative to find collab partners (and usually failing) is grinding my soul to dustttttt
A genuine and heartfelt thanks to every woman who has ever been the first one to express collab interest in me—even those of you whom I was not interested in collabing with. Because I know making yourself vulnerable to rejection is HARD, and I appreciate you shouldering that burden
Business Thoughts: On Fansly
These are all great questions and an excuse to provide yet another summary on my relationship with Fansly.
1) What initially led me to Fansly are the following factors:
a. frustration with OF, particularly its opaque TOS and capricious and arbitrary enforcement of said TOS
b. frustration with an intense shadowban here on Twitter which has lasted for years
I figured that reallocating a lot of my efforts towards a platform that has historically been more friendly to creators, and that has internal discovery, would be the best move I could make to diversify my business and increase its resilience and revenue.
I was right.
2) My approach on Fansly is completely different than OF, which is also part of my diversification efforts. Unlike OF, I run my Fansly on a high-price, all-inclusive, no-PPV model. It's $30/month, and I don't charge subscribers for anything else, ever. In this way, it is similar to a mainstream studio site.
Additionally, for people who AREN'T subscribers, I make each of my videos available as PPV without having to subscribe. My wall, unlike pretty much every other Fansly creator I know of, is completely free and open to browse--even for people who aren't followers. They can browse the entirety of my wall and pick and choose what they want. In this way, I seek to mimic the advantages of a clip store like ManyVids or YourVids. I price my individual videos such that, if someone is interested in 3 or more, it is more economically advantageous to subscribe rather than make individual purchase.
3) I am not sure what you are referring to when you say "categories"? But I have several walls that I have named according to the primary content type. E.g. "titfuck only," "nursing handjobs," "penetrative sex scenes," "milk/lactation," etc.
4.) I treat my Fansly like the way I would treat Twitter if I were not shadowbanned. What this means in practice: I post preview clips to the FYP 1-4 times every single day.
My practice, for years, has been to produce 5-15 preview clips of 5-15 seconds each for promotional purposes for every single video I make. This number does not include my 30-second trailers for each video, and occasional auxiliary posts of 2-5 minutes each showing BTS content. Because this has been my practice for years, I have a backlog of several hundred preview clips that I can use for marketing purposes. On Fansly, I post these to the FYP along with a link to the actual video which is available for subscribers to view or as PPV for non-subscribers.
This is insane...
Whitney Webb exposes the history of Palantir.
Palantir started as a DARPA project. It was going to completely destroy our constitutional protections so it was quietly taken out of government and rebranded as a private company to do the EXACT same thing.
