I’m a proud sea lion, asking people to prove their arguments & exposing little fishies who say things they can’t defend. I do try to do it in a civil way, tho!
Half the people she knows has dealt with “botched surgeries?”
Maybe the surgery shouldn’t happen at all?
Like @detransaqua says.
That lawsuit can’t come soon enough
#transwomen#transwomenarewomen
Why is your medically unnecessary surgery so often botched? Because it's a fad, and good doctors don't cut people to treat their mental distress because they threatened su_cide.
@sephpup@gigapooncel “Maybe im a boy” says the teen girl who has been raped.
And no one is like “maybe consider another explanation, like you feel weird about your body?”
Everyone is just like “yes you’re a boy.”
@sephpup@gigapooncel Because it’s all a feeling. You feel you’re the opposite sex and no one questions that feeling.
No one in authority is willing to say “maybe u are just bored or traumatized or …”
I bet 100% of the people who say they are trans get affirmed.
@burnyourbinder opioids for pain management also received a lot of acclaim at first.
I feel the best way to stop this sort of medical scandal is in-depth case reports.
These surveys — like 99% don’t regret — are such bullshit.
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty Ok — I read this. This would be applicable if accepting the word “gender” does not also mean accepting the whole trans ideology.
An example, do u think anyone who does NOT agree with trans ideology would be accepted into a “gender studies” program?
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty “Men can be women because they say so” is not a social construct by definition. Most people don’t believe it.
60 seconds is a minute. Most people accept it as true.
“Gender is a social construct” doesn’t meant anything.
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty I would consider changing it to “ideology” because very few believe men can be women if they say so compared to social constructs like time money and sex.
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty I would like to abolish the word gender because it doesn’t mean anything because it means too many things.
But if we have to keep it, i wouldn’t define it as a “social construct,” — which we should restrict to things most agree on like “time,” “money,” and “sex.”
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty I guess u can say in some liberal enclaves the idea men can be women if they say so is a social construct.
But no that idea should not be in the same category as the concept that 60 seconds =1 minute.
@MattHMajn@HMailing63835@forevershallon@zaelefty “Gender roles” are social constructs. The idea that women are primary caretakers for example could be argued is a social construct.
But the idea of trans? That men can be women because they say so?
Nope. Most don’t agree.
