@ChildrenFirstAT@Brettenham1882@Fleecefield2@RaynhamSchool@WilburyPrimary working in all of these of schools is a privilege. Great teaching, great teachers and great children. we've got it sussed at Raynham. Achievement is excellent, learning opportunities maximised, outstanding lessons and teachers clearly want the children to do well.
@HazelburySch The children at Hazelbury Primary School were amazing. They were engaged, focussed, concentrated and participated in the session with confidence and excitement. Not once did any pupil give me cause to. They were too engaged and wanted to excel in maths. This attitude was perfect.
@simmscoaching It is an amazing feeling and privilege to be able to impart knowledge, give help and support. It makes me feel significant and purposeful. Money can't buy this. Let's talk sometime
@Annmariechild Cooking and eating good food is also very important. Therapeutic, stress free, exciting and of course educational. Lots of maths involved
@TheStudentLeads the best thing you can do is never never ever take work home with you, plan, prepare and present lessons with confidence and knowledge and always be willing to accept advice. If you want more ideas and support on how to pass your 1st year with ease, contact me.
Now we see the problem, now we see the barriers, the hurdles, the fences, the closed doors, the lack of Black Educated, skilled, experienced men (and Women)! Our young black minds need to be loved, admired, respected, valued, appreciated then change can happen. Mr Numbervator
So, for me, 20 years later, I fail to see progress, movement in schools. Walk into or search online, any primary school staff list / staff photo wall. Where are the BAME staff faces / names? Towards the bottom. Let's not mention who the cleaning staff are or the catering staff.
lot's of talk about helping BAME children, supporting BAME children. Did it really take BLM to start the discussion? BAME children, Black boys have been ignored, under estimated, this has led to underachievement and unpleasant outcomes. Let's celebrate young black enquiring minds
Mr Numbervator is here. The best maths support any school will need! School in special measures due to weak maths dept Mr Numbervator will pull the school out . Mr Numbervator works with headteachers on school plans and policy, Mr Numbervator supports teachers with planning.
@susantaylorSGG hello Susan. I have read your tweet about exclusions and black children. This shouldn't be surprising or alarming. It happens every day and is not going to change soon. We need to address the mindset of teachers, schools and Head teachers. We need to challenge
@Annmariechild @susantaylorSGG Yes Ann for over two decades with local Local Authorities. Now because of what's happening with BLM they and other people want to know and are panicking about what to do. I'm the one Ann. There's only 1 Mr Numbervator - BBC maths programmes presented and written by me, BAME
@susantaylorSGG hello Susan, sincerely hope you liked my reply via e mail. There's lots of work to be done here. Mr Numbervator is available for work in schools and I can be contacted at [email protected]
