just realised that, if i ever do have kids, i’ll also be able to tell them crazy stories about how i got to school/work in unreal and horrible conditions just like my very slavic parents did💅🏻

I’m 27 and genuinely am not optimistic about life at all. jobs look bleak, pay isn’t enough. I won’t be able to afford a studio apartment, only a room in a house which I can’t do. I will probably never own a house. I can’t get a mortgage. I can’t rent due to such high prices. Forget having kids at this point. Meanwhile the older generation says we don’t work hard enough. What is the point of living genuinely in these conditions?
