@Mr_Crome You’ve saved the best til last:
Elf
Muppet Christmas Carol
And….(for all the primary school teachers out there)…Nativity.
This is pure joy. The child actors in this look like they’ve been taken directly from a local school with no prior acting experience at all!

@Mr_Crome 💯 yes! Sometimes I’m so exhausted at the end of the day, having supported so many staff and pupils and parents throughout the day that I just need to lie down in a darkened room.
Small talk with other parents who you don’t really know is my idea of hell!

@RogersHistory Of course not. You get exceptional teachers who don’t have kids and awful teachers who do…and vice versa.
I think it’s quite offensive to people who don’t have kids to say that you’d be a better teacher if you did.
@MrsSTeaches@mrlockyer State of Play is a great film! Not necessarily sure kids will love it, as it’s quite political but defo worth watching if you haven’t seen it.
@PrimaryHeadMrsD@secretHT1 Same here. Ofsted in the last week of term, so a completely different feeling going into the new year. Feel like we can finally do what we think is right for the children and not just because it’s what Ofsted want to see.
@RogersHistory Seems common place now. I’m in an area surrounded by large academy chains, which all have a lovely, glossy prospectus and promo material to appeal to parents. Hard for smaller schools to compete with that…but we are all essentially competing for bums on seats!
