People make their worst decisions at the moments that matter most, and rules exists to make one decision for them at that moment.
Here a list of useful rules to keep in mind:
Humility is often a better sign of leadership potential than confidence is.
Here’s why:
People who are truly great at something usually don’t realize how rare their skill is because it comes easily to them.
That awareness of your own limits is what humility looks like.
The highest form of existence is when you're dead and most alive at the same time. Masterpieces are born when u're truly heartbroken, and not just over a girl. It can be a hell of a lot of events and things in life. When u're really broken, or tasted a bit of truth, u can't find joy in consuming anymore. It kills the urge to consume so deeply that u won't even have any liking for the food, leave everything else aside. The only little joy u can find is in creating something, anything, with absolute monstrous focus, because u don't care about the outcome anymore. There is no learning. You do bc you want to do nothing else.
I wrote down exactly who I want to be and what I want my life to look like. then I asked what does he do. how does he start his day. what does he eat. when does he sleep. how does he handle the hard conversations. what does his work look like. I wrote all of it down. then I just started doing it. you don't have to feel like him first. you act like him until you are him.
The most powerful man is the one who is detached from the outcome and completely immersed in the act of doing. Nothing can bother him. Nobody can make him flinch. For he has incredibly high internal locus of control.
