3 Phases of The Bitcoin Halving

1. Final Pre-Halving Retrace

Bitcoin has produced two -18% retraces prior to the Halving in the span of just over a month

In mid-March, BTC pulled back -18% before recovering to $70000 and now in mid-April BTC has retraced -18% again

This downside is typical just before the Halving

In 2016, the Pre-Halving Retrace was -38% deep and in 2020 it was -19% deep

Nonetheless, this Pre-Halving Retrace represents the final bargain-buying opportunity in the Pre-Halving period

Bitcoin is only 2 days away from the Halving

2. Re-Accumulation

Now that the Pre-Halving Retrace is still in progress, it is seting up the very foundations of the Re-Accumulation Range

This Re-Accumulation Range develops a few weeks before the Halving and concludes with a breakout from it multiple weeks after the Halving

The goal now is for Bitcoin to a) establish firmly its Range Low of the Re-Accumulation Range and then b) move sideways going into the Halving and beyond

The Re-Accumulation phase can last multiple weeks and even up to 150 days (i.e 5 months)

Many investors get shaken-out in this stage due to boredom, impatience, and disappointment with lack of major results in their BTC investment in the immediate aftermath of the Halving

3. Parabolic Uptrend

Once Bitcoin breaks out from the re-accumulation area breakout into the parabolic uptrend (green)

It is during this phase Bitcoin experiences accelerated growth into a parabolic uptrend

Historically, this phase has lasted just over a year (~385 days) however with a potential Accelerated Cycle occurring right now, this figure may get cut in half in this market cycle
