In anticipation of winter storm, there is a full parking ban on all city streets starting at 12 noon on Sunday until Monday night, February 23rd at 11:00 pm. All residents must remove their vehicles from the street to assist with plowing and emergency services by noon tomorrow.

Beginning tomorrow, there will be emergency Parking Restrictions on Church Street between the hours of 6 a.m - 4 p.m. The parking restrictions will be in effect Monday-Friday for the next 6-8 weeks. These restrictions are due to Eversource's installation of new gas lines.
--1:45 UPDATE: All schools are safe, no threat was found. The "swatting call" is under investigation. Multiple school systems have received similar threats today in Connecticut. Schools will be dismissed on normal schedule per the Ansonia Superintendent.--
The Ansonia Police Department is responding to a report of an armed suspect at Ansonia High School. The school has been put into lockdown. Officers are reporting no issues at the school and this is an apparent "Swatting" call. These calls have been reported across the state.
