“My guy who lives in the UK wanted to start his building project. He got a quotation from an engineer and everything came to about 140 million naira, excluding workmanship.
His elder brother is also an engineer so he reached out to him. The elder brother quoted 150 million naira. When asked about his profit margin, he said 10 to 15 million naira per project but would take only 3 to 5 million since it was family.
My friend said okay, requested his account details and sent him 3 million naira.
Then he gave the contract to the first engineer.
When the elder brother found out, he reported it to their mother. My friend told them plainly that he did not want to mix family with business and that the 3 million naira was already 60% of what his brother said he would have made.
The day the engineer arrived at the site with his crew to begin work, the elder brother showed up with th¥gs and d&str0yed the foundation.
My friend had him arr£sted for 3 days without food.
He never went near the site again until the building was completed.
His mother has refused to take his calls since then.
He is opening the house tomorrow. His elder brother and mother have both cut him off.
Above all, love God…” - A Nigerian man living in the United Kingdom (UK) has reportedly been cut off by his mother and elder brother after awarding a ₦140 million building contract to another engineer instead of his sibling.
A 55-year-old driver cheated death and escaped unhurt after a train rammed his Honda car at the PWD rail crossing in Lagos. The vehicle, marked EKY 902 JT, was badly damaged. Someone just asked me why I am so emotional about the NAF aircraft crash.
Oh wow… perhaps some people do not know that I grew up in the barracks.
𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅, 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉.
I was born at 𝗡𝗔𝗙 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗻𝗮.
I grew up at 𝗡𝗔𝗙 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗶.
And I bloomed at 𝗦𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲, 𝗜𝗸𝗲𝗷𝗮.
The Nigerian Air Force is not distant from me. It is part of my childhood, my memories, my upbringing and my identity.
So, when tragedy strikes the NAF family, it does not feel like news happening somewhere else.

That is why I am deeply emotional.

Without any iota of doubt the Nigerian Air Force Air931 was brought down.
The Aircraft exploded in the air.
They're was no survivor to explain how it happened.
This happened some weeks after alerts of insurgency in the Southwest.
