Non-violence is not a weapon of the weak.
It is the strength of the courageous.
It is the power to resist injustice without hatred, confront oppression without cruelty & build peace through dignity, not domination.
@alhaq_org@AlMezanCenter & @pchrgaza - at the frontlines of defending justice in Palestine — are now sanctioned by the US.
After ICC judges & UN experts, Washington escalates its war on human rights defenders.
Truth cannot be silenced.

🚨#Trump administration #sanctions 4 #ICC judges - for daring to uphold the rule of law in the #Palestine and #Afghanistan situations, and for challenging impunity for US personnel and allies.
We knew this was coming, but it’s still gut-wrenching.

Ever minute passes in Gaza genocidal war , we are losing more women and children , the famine suffering , the massive displacement and destruction.
How much time do Western goverments need to act to stop this shameful genocide against Gazans?
Stop condemning, act now!
Massive banners demanding political change were hung from an elevated bridge in Chengdu China, reading "Without political system reform, there will be no national rejuvenation."
“The people do not need a political party with unchecked power”
"China does not need anyone to point out the direction. Democracy is the direction."
The protester behind this bold act shared a photo of the scene before he was forcibly disappeared. He revealed that he had spent an entire year preparing for this moment, determined that it be seen and remembered—no matter the cost. His final words before all contact was lost were: “All I wish for is democracy in China.”
This act required extraordinary courage and careful planning. Like Fang Yirong in Hunan in July 2023, he is following in the footsteps of Peng Lifa, the “Bridge Man” who captured the world’s attention on Beijing’s Sitong Bridge in October 2022.
Caesar of Truth, the noble Syrian:
Farid Al-Madhan - Head of the Judicial Evidence Department in the Military Police
I was still in detention when I learned that you had leaked tens of thousands of photos of detainees who had died due to torture in security branches.
That day I realized that we will win and that no one can erase the crime.
Farid Al-Madhan, Caesar of Truth, O noble Syrian, thank you
All of Syria owes you
Yes we also call for an #ICC#OTP Article 70 investigation in our @fidh_en statement!
🗣️United States of America: FIDH and its members condemn President Trump's draconian executive order establishing International Criminal Court #sanctions regime
🔗https://t.co/0wU2vMkTyR
79 States Parties have joined the following statement in support of the International Criminal Court, initiated by a cross-regional core group of 5 countries - 🇸🇮🇸🇱🇲🇽🇻🇺🇱🇺
As I seem to be shadowbanned, I repeat:
The "riviera plan" for Gaza is nonsense, which nonetheless must be taken very seriously. President Trump has basically declared his intention to commit the int'l crime of forced displacement and resort to unlawful use of force against the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination, in violation of the UN Charter - amounting to aggression.
The 191 members of the UN who still have an interest in protecting themselves from this madness, better recover from their paralysis and stand united against this imperialist lawlessness.
PS: In any case, this plan won't work. How do I know? 76 years of failed attempts by Israel, including 16 months of genocidal assault. Indigenous people do not leave their land.
Syria is big enough for all Syrians—men and women, from all beliefs and ideologies. What we need is humility towards one another and acceptance that everyone has the right to live according to their own convictions without feeling obligated to impose them on others. Let us agree that it is not our duty to guide others toward what we believe is best for them. Instead, let us respect their right to choose and allow them to take responsibility for their decisions. This principle must apply to everyone, without exception or bias.

FIDH welcomes the @Europarl_EN plenary's adoption of the Forced Labour Regulation!
An EU trade ban on products tainted with forced labour is crucial as millions of people worldwide are still subjected to this violation of their human dignity.
Follows Macron statement saying France is "considering other measures" against violent settlers beyond the entry bans announced earlier. https://t.co/W1VGOU67d5
