@diimplegan As an IOW local who’s done that festival twice now, yes 100%. Camping with your friends is so much fun, all the music, the food, the drinks, the stalls, the sun… Cirque De La Quirk is awesome too, especially at night lol. You’ll have so much fun I promise!
@ghostofsandra Wait for them to announce the day tickets and just get the day ticket for when they’re performing! You’ll have a great time, honestly xx
@aesthchanel As an islander, Red Funnel (from Southampton) is significantly cheaper than WightLink (from Portsmouth). Get on the Red Funnel car ferry as a foot passenger and it’s only £27.30 return then get the bus to the festival site from East Cowes xx
TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SEE 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER AND NO ONE ELSE:
WAIT!!! Don’t buy your ticket yet! Wait for them to announce which day they’re performing and then buy the DAY TICKET!
Sincerely,
An IOW person who can’t wait to see you all come to her hometown x

**WE WERE ROBBED OF A DOCUMENTARY. AND I WANT ANSWERS.**
Someday, I need to know the real story behind that Louis and Zayn documentary. Because, seriously, this whole thing feels like it was written by the same people who've spent years refusing to give us the final chapter of One Direction.
Two guys who, according to everything we'd been told, had been estranged for years. Two friends who shared far more than stages, songs, and tours. Two people who, after all that time, finally appeared together again.
And just when we were beginning to believe in that little miracle, they told us about a documentary.
**A DOCUMENTARY!**
Louis' eyes practically lit up whenever he mentioned it. Zayn talked about it too, although neither could reveal much.
And there we were, a fandom that should have learned by now not to get its hopes up so easily, falling for it all over again.
Because their friendship was never just any friendship.
Louis spoke many times about how disappointed he felt when Zayn left One Direction. About the distance that followed. He even said he believed Zayn hadn't spoken to him before leaving because he knew Louis would have tried to convince him to stay.
Can you imagine how strong that bond must have been?
And then there's the promise Louis made to his mum, Johannah, to try to make things right with Zayn.
There are also countless stories from that infamous tour bus. The mischief, the laughter, the complicity. Even the *Mystery Machine* they bought together for the Where We Are Tour, which, as the story goes, they never actually got to use the way they'd planned.
So many memories. So much shared history.
And now I can't help wondering...
What did they talk about when they finally reunited?
The years apart? The wounds? What that band really meant to them? Liam?
**And what if they talked about far more than anyone ever expected them to reveal?**
I don't know what happened to that documentary. I don't know whether it came down to creative decisions, contracts, personal reasons, or people with authority over the project.
And that's exactly why I want answers.
Because it's hard not to wonder what happened to something that seemed to mean so much.
And there's one sentence that has stayed with me ever since we lost Liam. The words shared through One Direction's official account:
*“In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say…”*
More to say about Liam? About themselves? About everything they went through?
Maybe someday we'll find out.
Until then, here we are. Another unfinished story. A documentary we still haven't seen. And an absolutely ridiculous number of unanswered questions.
Because if being a One Direction fan has taught us anything, it's that silence has always been part of this story.
**But seriously, lads. Could you PLEASE let us see the bloody documentary for once?**
We're not asking for the moon.
Well… not this time, anyway.
💙💚

If you’re ever sad about Liam’s passing, remember this quote from Doctor Who. Liam wouldn’t want you to be sad about his death. He’d want you to live your life. #LiamPayne
