I had the dim mode option on and when I opened twitter it just suddenly disappeared and switched to light mode so when I opened the app it was like

🚨 BREAKING: Many users are reporting that “Dim” mode is no longer available for them on X. We're seeing this too on desktop.

The remaining themes are “Default” (white) and “Lights Out” (black).

Dim mode is a lower contrast dark mode with a bluish background.
