Lots of comments and questions on why @IDF released the footage of #Sinwar and his defeat and preparations for war, as some see them (or try to convince themselves) as images of victory.
IMO all of these images are relevant. They show first a man, they show that his promise of resistance became the curse of Gaza, they show that he planned for the massacre. They show his selfishness for his own family.
He will be forever remembered as a mass murderer, as a man that miscalculated the resolve of the people of Israel and as a man that ultimately failed himself and the people he claimed to lead.
To our enemies I say, look very carefully, see our patience in an increasingly impatient era, and know that it would be much better for everyone, our sons and daughters, and the future generations, if you come to terms with our roots and history in this land. The terrorists murder Odaya, but don't see the little girls who were lying on the floor of the car. When police arrive, little Romi is terrified it's the terrorists returning to kill them. When she finds out they are Israeli, she yells "Take us.”
