@SylvainLacroi13@MOBeaudoin1 If Hage arrives and pans out Wright is Danault replacement in a year. The locker room is tight and they have a strong captain. There is no threat of Wright disrupting that. It is worth a shot.
@Antho_Martineau It’s refreshing to see a Habs fan showing common sense and patience. I would have loved to see an addition but not at the price contracts were dolled out. I knew it would be a circus the moment Byram got the extension he got. Thank goodness Hughes has a plan and self control
@paqdaddy You don’t trade just to say you made a trade. It’s a sellers market and Hughes is not willing to give up young talent for potential success. No one on the market is a sure thing to be great forward. Trust the process. We are 2-3 years away from being legitimate cup contenders.
@insiderJmoney@TonyMarinaro It’s embarrassing that you would consider this contract overpaying. Take a look at the Blackhawks deal with Byram to see what overpaid means.
@ISMHABS Based on history, I’m going to put my trust in the Habs brass. You can’t sign or trade for guys just to look active. They have a blueprint and want guys who fit that blueprint. I’d rather keep the prospects for impact players.
@teapottoffoIi Who really cares. Canadiens had no business drafting him in the first place. It’s not like he’s the reason the Habs didn’t win the Cup. Essentially he’s been stealing money since leaving Montreal. Let him have his moment.
@Acyn I’ve said it 100 times. The next great game show is to strap him up to a polygraph, have contestants bet on the level of his lie, then ask him a question. You can call it “Can He Tell The Truth?” The gauge on the machine would last 10 minutes at most.
@Theo00004@EricMacramalla The fans at the show seemed to have no problems with it. They fought hard and gave the city more than expected this year. Time to enjoy what they accomplished.
@thesickpodcasts@TonyMarinaro@StuCowan1 Veleno played 6.33. You can’t tell me they couldn’t have used Gally for 6 and send him off with one last game wearing a jersey? That is what doesn’t sit well with me. Hearing his teamates talk talk about him, it doesn’t sit well with them either. This is a blemish on management.
@NotTheJoeMarino I’m not sure what series you watched. It was a coin flip series and Montreal got the last flip. With the Sabres goaltending, they likely get swept.
