@SleeperMets I would say the 25th best prospect in baseball plus 2 more top 100 prospects, isn’t bad . Especially for a rental at trade deadline. I feel teams will be willing to pay more to compete with the dodgers. Teams were not trading with the Mets for those 2 until this domino fell.

I think Stearns has made some very very questionable moves and head scratching decision. This just isn’t one of the them lol. IMO

@NFLFrascella I’m not defending Stearns in this post. I do think he hasn’t done the best job. But Tong and Clifford have looked terrible this year in triple A. Wouldn’t be shocked if one in traded in the offseason.

But you have a lot of high ceiling teams, that have definitely had moments of struggle, especially as of late. St John’s schedule is definitely questionable as well.
