@BeardedTesla yeah, I definitely missed the point. You just want something a little bit more nuanced. I think you’re right blending in a speed max on the scroll seems like an easy enough solution.
@jaycee_usa@BeardedTesla it is interesting how my CT in a 65mph zone does 78 in Hurry, 72 in Standard and 65 in Chill. I don’t use mad Max much, but I use sloth quite a bit in town where the speed limit limits are really slow and people are everywhere. See if the Speed limit offset helps you.
@riponthedip@BeardedTesla@VRKirk60 I’ve often wanted to be in Mad Max Mode, but not have the excessive speeding but keep the acceleration and the aggressiveness.
@Jones1@YouTube My favorite add is the Cyber Fidge. Nice to come back after sports to a cold beverage! Plus, cold snacks like cheese, grapes, cold cuts really opens up food/snacks you can have. and when you’re on the road, you can just grab something at the store and save it till later.
@Teslarati Standard for me is alwaysat 72mph on the CA freeways. Seems about right for flow with the slower to medium pace. I use Chill in town to stay within the speed limit.
@adhdumps@SawyerMerritt This weekend I drove a model Y 2025 with basic autopilot, it is horrible compared to the FSD in my Cybertruck.Once you have FSD it’s hard to go backwards.
@dirtyskoog@Smoking_Patriot@SawyerMerritt@Tesla Yeah, I know in one of the cases it’s basically a DUI where everybody in the vehicle, including the driver were way above the legal limit and had other drugs in their system. Remember, don’t get in a car with someone drinking or high.
@surfranchvibes The Cybertruck owner split is fascinating.
One group treats it like a luxury SUV with stainless steel — wraps, accessories, polished garage setups, attention.
The other group treats it like an actual truck — durability, hauling, scratches, utility, off-road use.
Cybertruck is starting to make gas pickups look financially exhausting.
More than 10x cheaper per mile.
$73 spent on electricity for 3,376 miles.
Equivalent gas-truck fuel cost?
Around $800.
This wasn’t gentle city driving either.
100% home charging.
80% self-driving.
Rugged terrain through Yellowstone.
The per-mile math is getting brutally one-sided.
