@LFC77225300@Newtons_Laws@Monica55dzrh It is a matter of prospective. Waiting tables is known as a higher paying job in the US, because of the tipping structure. To the original posts point, a server should not expect a good tip. Nor should they ask for a bigger one. That’s just rude anywhere!
@Newtons_Laws@Monica55dzrh Here in NY it is customary to tip minimum of 18%. Most restaurants with tables 6 or more have a policy to add the 18% to the bill automatically.
