@OldSchoolRS Would suggest +3 gear as the max and consume3, 5, and 7 items (16 total) for a max piece of the respective gear. This will keep the value of a lot of items high and give slight buffs to existing gear.

like an abyssal whip (0) can be increased to an abyssal whip (+1) with 70 craft and smith by combining it with 3 whips and give slightly increased stats. whip (+1) to whip (+2) by adding 5 more whips at 80 craft/smith etc
