$VRA fam, this is your Commander speaking.
Let’s address the current wave of FUD. And that’s what it is. Please read all this and share.
Let’s apply some very basic logical thinking in this post and no hype, no distraction, no feeling. Just facts and logic.
The FUD - some places have changed/updated the circulating supply (CS) to over 70bn instead of the actual 9ish billion.
Has this changed on those sites? Yes, that’s a fact. Have people previously been worried about this? Yes, another fact.
Should you be worried? I don’t tell people how to feel but no — logic.
Has the circulating supply previously shown on these sites as higher than what’s actually circulating? Yes. It’s nothing new. Fact.
Have we know for years that exchanges keep billions of POV tokens on their exchanges for the use of the POV tech? Yes. Fact.
We have seen this all before.
Now, for some critical thinking and logical reasoning.
Think about the following:
Has Verasity recently made some big partnerships and listings? Yes. LBank, and PAAL for examples.
Now, do you really think these companies, and the many, many more have just jumped into bed with a company running a scam?
A company who has operated for 7 years?
Do you really think that places like CoinGeko and CoinMarketCap who previously had the correct CS for $VRA haven’t done their due diligence on the project and know exactly what’s going on with the tokenomics?
Do you really think these full time and world renowned companies have been hoodwinked by a team? Or they all simply missed something so glaringly obvious as POV tokens being traded as regular CS $VRA?
What’s more likely?
The perpetually online people who’ve lost money spinning a narrative for FUD knowing more than CG and CMC.
Or.
These companies have done their homework and worked and received proof from Verasity about the structure of their tokenomics.
That isn’t hard.
Verasity is the Platinum sponsor for the WebX Asia event coming up.
Verasity has POV enabled on multiple platforms now.
It is a proven real workable product. That is undeniable.
So why is it called a scam?
Why would a company making all these deals for years, with multiple global approved patents be doing it for a scam.
The same company who spend millions burning revenue to reduce circulating supply. With proof.
The same company operating for 7 years plus through 2 crypto winters and bear markets.
The same company who’ve delivered on promises to the community such as burning the war chest and agreeing to move POV to a new contract and chain.
The same company who’ve delivered regularly updates and tries to be as transparent as possible — there is no company on earth who shows every single aspect of their company, don’t be ridiculous expecting the same.
The same company gearing up to airdrop all its users free money as a reward.
The same company solving a billion dollar ad fraud problem.
WHY WOULD THEY GO TO ALL THAT TROUBLE JUST TO SCAM NOW!!
If they were going to scam us, it would have happened already. We would already be in the dirt without a possible return.
It’s the beginning of potentially the biggest bull run we’ve seen yet.
Why would they blow up their project now, of all times, just before they turn a $20m company into potentially a billion dollar one.
You’d have to be insane to think this is what’s happening.
Why would any company do that? Even if it was a scam, this would be the worst possible time to actually initiate it creating maybe the single dumbest move of all time. It doesn’t add up.
Occam’s Razor - the easiest and most explainable solution is true in the absence of evidence.
The change in supply all of a sudden is likely to do with the preparation for the incoming migration which is all one 30ish days away.
Everyone, Relax
The entire alt market corrected the same as VRA. We hit resistance at 0.0024 & 0.002 & pulled back
We will be soon

📢 Why is CoinGecko showing the wrong market cap for $VRA?
(And why other platforms do too)
1️⃣. Correct data ✅
Circulating Supply: 9.6B $VRA
Max Supply: 100B
Current Price: ~$0.00176
Real Market Cap: ~$17M
Trusted & verified sources:
✅ CoinMarketCap (validated with Verasity team)
🔍 Etherscan (direct read from ERC-20 contract)
🔗 Bybit / VeraWallet / DexTools (direct/internal integrations)
2️⃣. Where’s the error? ⚠️
CoinGecko misinterprets non-circulating tokens (e.g., vesting, treasury) as circulating supply.
This leads to:
❌ Wrong Circulating Supply: 77B
❌ Inflated Market Cap: ~$135M
It doesn’t reflect the actual on-chain reality and misleads investors.
3️⃣. Why do other platforms show it wrong too?
Because they use CoinGecko as a data oracle:
🔸 What’s an oracle?
A system that bridges off-chain data (like prices/supply) to on-chain platforms, DEXs, apps, etc.
🔸 OKX:
Their official oracle fetches from CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and other external feeds.
(It can be seen in official documents)
🔸 Arkham Intelligence:
Publicly integrated CoinGecko as their main token/price feed.
(Official announcement available)
🔸 https://t.co/JCRoPOQuZJ :
Doesn’t list its source, but its data matches CoinGecko in real-time = very likely linked.
4️⃣. Is this Verasity’s fault? ❌
NO.🙅
CoinGecko does not require team validation or documentation from Verasity.
Unlike CoinMarketCap, which manually reviews data, excludes locked wallets, and verifies with project teams.
Verasity has no control over how CoinGecko or other 3rd parties display its data.
✅ FINAL Takeaway:
✔️ Real Market Cap: ~$17M
✔️ Actual Circulating Supply: 9.6B VRA
❌ Error originates from CoinGecko, spreads via APIs/oracles
❗️ Not Verasity's fault
🔍 Always verify with on-chain or validated sources.
🙂Have a nice weekend Family.
