@dilanesper It going to defend the Orwellian accusation, and I do refer to transwomen as women out of politeness. But to me the whole “women is about gender identity, not sex” is a creation of a politically captured field of academia who tried to use it to force self-id into law.

@dilanesper To me, “transwomen are women” is a euphemism. Something we say socially to make people comfortable. I think legally, we need to start with transwomen are men, and then decide legally where they should have the same prerogatives as women and where they should not.

@jessesingal I imagine Rita the intersection of the fabulism and the DEI aspects? Plagiarism has to be looked for (easier now with AI) but Arday’s life story is so crazy that you would need incentive to buy it. The DEI pulls it strongly into the culture war.

@JacksonBrittsny I enjoyed the movie, but let’s face it - it was basically the plot of Spaceballs, but spaceballs was a pure screwball comedy. If you dump a ‘clean’ atmosphere into a polluted one, you just dilute the pollution.

@dilanesper Kaepernick struck me as the dog that caught the car. He got attention, but the thing he was trying to draw attention to was too complicated - it wasn’t a simple “now that I have your attention, please do this…”
