Another dirty cop caught illegally misusing Flock cameras / AI tracking software to stalk a woman.
Pasadena (Houston), Texas police sergeant Michael Palitz has resigned due to an ongoing investigation of his criminal activity. No charges have been filed as cops seem to be immune from prosecution related to systems like this. Every time this cop illegally searched the system he was committing a felony under federal law, 18 U.S.C. ยง 242. Based on this reporting; he committed MULTIPLE felonies and should be criminally tried for doing so.
Again, these incidents aren't new but they're showing up daily/multiple times per day now because people are finally starting to look into these systems that violate all of our Constitutional rights every single day as long as they exist.
Keep requesting public records of these systems and report these crimes accordingly... ๐ฆ

9 Officers just got arrested/fired for abusing Flock surveillance to stalk people...again! This makes it 21 cases of abuse so far that we're aware of.
This is exactly why mass surveillance is dangerous.
Itโs not just โa few bad apples.โ One person with access and a grudge can turn your every move into their personal playground - exes, coworkers, neighbors, whoever.
Your 4th Amendment rights are being shredded while youโre just trying to live your life.
Nobody consented to being tracked 24/7 just for existing.
And when the machines get it wrong? False positives can destroy lives! The FBI will be at your door at 4AM, guns drawn screaming at you to 'get on your knees!'
Real police work doesnโt need this. ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ
@Asandry4@Milajoy Coming from the party who will protest for dictators and people who do worse, don't know which bathroom to go, and think men can get pregnant I wouldn't talk any reasoning skills.
@JasonBassler1 Are we waking up yet people? Wonder how many innocent people have suffer because of departments like this? She hit the nail on the head when she said nowadays it's guilty until proven innocent.
