@spongejams@_24kin there is no owner in any sport that is going to use their own money on the team it’s a business and they use the money the team makes
@HairlineSports@Brandon_N_Wile yeah i doubt it’ll be right away i’m sure they will give teams a couple years to get cap compliant which is plenty of time
nfl also does a good job of it so where rebuilding teams are allowed to be under the salary floor for a few seasons before spending
@lennykey7@Exiled_axe they would’ve been $17M over according to spotrac; and with gausmans deal expiring they’ll actually be below the proposed cap this offseason
@HairlineSports@Brandon_N_Wile spending money is the easy part, hand out some extensions to your stars and sign a couple free agents
shedding money as a team like the dodgers mets or yankees may be difficult but those are the only teams who’d really have to become cap compliant
@Swiftsdatdude@Exiled_axe that’s why there’s a floor with it to force teams to spend it will be the same amount of money given back to the players as it is right now
@EliteMarino we simply don’t have enough talent in the WR room i don’t see douglas or bell becoming a true no. 1 option
also chris bell is definitely not a downfield threat he’s a big yac receiver similar to deebo and he can make contested catches sometimes too
