@OlivierBib does it specify which types of enterprise software businesses they are going to engage with? Not a lot of private funds care about VMS because they are such small businesses, from my understanding. If you raise 5B euro, do you want to do acquire 150-300 businesses? or 5 big ones?

@MarkReid42 @chalackd @joshua_rangers Only wealth canadians who have maxxed their RRSP, TFSA and own more than one home or have a lot of money in a non-registered account would have to pay taxes on their unrealized gains. If they stayed, they would still have to pay taxes on those gains. Crazy idea I know.

@MarkReid42 @chalackd @joshua_rangers Sounds like you don't know how the exit tax works. You only pay tax on whatever unrealized gains you have. You claim "most canadians would not be able to afford the tax" is misleading at best. Most canadians only have TFSA, RRSP and a principle home. All 3 are exempt...
