Today of all days feels perfect to share the big news!!
My debut poetry collection, Ghost Walk, is being published with @MansfieldPress and will be out soon!
Beware, a world of fantasy and horror awaits you!!
Unsurprisingly, I was swept up in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. What begins as a sprawling, almost stuffy, melodrama evolves into an intimate and quiet tragedy. Jacob Elordi delivers a sensitive and profound performance as The Creature.
Goodnight to the Japanese New Wave renegade Masahiro Shinoda, an ever-versatile filmmaker who pushed a variety of genres to their limits through the sheer boldness of his painterly, exquisite style. ❤️
Hard to believe my debut poetry collection is 20 years old this year. Happy anniversary to "Memoirs of an Alias" and a big thank you to @MansfieldPress for bringing it into the world.
Only saw seven films at TIFF this year and it was a mixed bag. Some absolute bangers and some disappointments. Here is my ranking.
1. Anora (by far the best)
2. Queer
3. Flow
4. Bring Them Down
5. Megalopolis
6. Saturday Night
7. Went Up the Hill
First trailer for ‘FLOW’, described as one of best animated films of 2024.
• 100% on Rotten Tomatoes
• Predicted to be a potential Best Animated Feature nominee
In theaters later this year.
