Merchant navy officer Vineet Kishore Mishra and five other Indian seafarers have been stranded on a cargo ship at Karachi port since April. Passports held by authorities, contracts expired, supplies short, and health risks rising. His family in Prayagraj (including 3-year-old son asking “when will Papa come home?”) has appealed to PM, President and MEA with little result.
