He is correct as usual, that’s why Soltech exsist. Skills taught in South Africa. I bet 75% of those kids works abroad in the first 5 years as the SA economy does not want them.
Dr. Groenewald says technical schools and trade schools that were closed by Thabo Mbeki should be reopened.
Woodwork, Agriculture, Home Economics, Plumbing, and Electrical Wiring should be restored in public schools, similar to how they were offered before 1994.
@NandisaGschwari Cuba is full of Technicians, mechanics and lots of Educated people in many Areas but there's still so much hardship in their country. So question is if we can have more skillful people will our economical problems be solved?
Your idea of saving is sending 800 million back to Treasury whilst ppl are homeless, flats don’t have stairs. You can’t take action against Tony because says all those companies funded you that got corrupt tenders. I shall account for every cent used during WC in a day or two.
@sherwiebp I wonder if the same arguments persist between Pepsi and Coca Cola. Both are black and sweet and will cause you harm. Yet we drink the poison.
@JacoKleynhans Principles are being guided by Mammon, alas your words are true, yet in the apartheid years both SWAPO and cANCer flirted with western governments in their endeavors to gain political control.

IT’S NOT YOUR MONEY: President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reminded Namibian business leaders accompanying her to China that the mission must deliver tangible benefits for the country.
Addressing the delegation in Beijing, she said Namibia is expected to spend about US$500,000 in foreign reserves on the visit, underscoring the need for both public and private sector participants to secure meaningful partnerships, investment and outcomes that advance the country's economic interests. While not all travel costs are borne directly by the State, she said the overall expenditure carries national economic significance and must be justified by results.

Methinks nnn is too hyped as the first woman prez but her selection in men appears suspect. We have this schemer overreaching and that other reflective vest slowing the traffic.
Since becoming mines & energy minister six months ago, Modestus Amutse has already overturned Namibia Competition Commission’s decisions on two major deals:
⛽ Nassan Energies’ fuel purchase agreement with Vitol
🏭 Ohorongo–Cheetah merger
Concerning!
That’s the South Africa you are part of, help created and now you are shocked, surprised, on a high horse? You’re backing the wrong party boet. Vote for oom Pieter.
South Africa must be one of the few countries in the world where a multibillionaire President is found with hundreds of thousands of dollars hidden inside his furniture; where a Deputy President owns mansions worth tens of millions of rand; where a police officer can afford a R39 million house; and where a municipal manager spends millions on a London shopping trip using a chartered flight costing R3 million.
Then we are lectured about “fiscal discipline”, “tightening our belts” and “living within our means.” A country where obscene wealth coexists with mass unemployment, hunger and collapsing public services is not suffering from a shortage of resources—it is suffering from a crisis of priorities, accountability and inequality.
The Chinese monopoly on the construction industry, much like their current dominance in mining, will soon expand into water and electricity production. They seem to want ownership of everything in this country, and we need to be careful.

So they put up a huge signboard stating Hage Geingob Freeway with an opening party paid for and the works. Yet they did not do their work to proclaim and now hides behind the law which is out of touch with the public perception or reality. Nice dummies.
Activist Michael Amushelelo has failed to show that minister of works and transport Veikko Nekundi and the Roads Authority violated the law with the installation of speed humps on sections of the Western Bypass road in Windhoek.

The Presidency has rejected claims that taxpayers paid for the Namibian business delegation accompanying President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on her state visit to China, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
The Presidency, in a statement, clarified that the participating companies and business entities covered their own costs.
The clarification follows an article published by a local daily on the composition and cost of the delegation.
"The participating businesses made their own travel and participation arrangements", the Presidency said, dismissing suggestions that the delegation travelled to China at the expense of the taxpayers.
The business mission was coordinated by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) following an Expression of Interest invited companies to join engagements running alongside the state visit.
More than 200 representatives from Namibian businesses spanning across different sectors travelled to China to pursue commercial opportunities, establish partnerships, identify suppliers and attract investment.
"The strong participation by more than 200 representatives of Namibian businesses is itself a testament to the opportunities the private sector sees in engaging the world's second-largest economy," the statement said.

@TheNamibian You see, as from today law enforcement will start to enforce this. It was in the papers, the minister said so therefor gospel. No debate in parliament, draft bill and a law. Just announce it and there you go.
@KaseraBM It is so funny when people just take wrong info. 90 %? I find it hard to to believe. But 90% of readers, I assume, believe your numbers and make up their mind. I have to insist on references else STFU!
