My whole portfolio is tickers with three letters or fewer, and none of them are Apple.
I’m a crypto person. Stocks have always felt like the other team’s sport.
So here’s what got my attention: Bitget lets users move eligible US stocks and ETFs from another broker into Bitget as rTokens. They appear in the Spot account alongside crypto.
More than 3,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs are supported.
The important distinction is that rTokens provide tokenized exposure, not physical shares.
For someone used to crypto, the interesting part is the potential to bring stock exposure into the same ecosystem without selling the underlying position just to move the exposure onto another platform.
There’s another layer to it. Bitget says eligible rTokens may be usable in supported loans, margin, and Earn products. That’s where the capital-efficiency angle comes in but each product has its own eligibility rules, terms, and risks.
I wouldn’t assume that every rToken works everywhere, and I definitely wouldn’t treat potential yield or collateral use as guaranteed profit.
The idea is interesting precisely because it connects two different financial worlds. The sensible move is to understand the asset, the product, and the risk before trying to use them together.
Boring but important: transferring out costs $150, and processing takes around 10 business days.
If you’re also new to this side of finance, start by reading, not clicking.
