Today during #BHM the brothers of AO will like to give credit to a JCSU own Robert Franklin Williams. He was an American civil rights leader and author best known for serving as president of the Monroe, North Carolina chapter of the NAACP in the 1950s and into 1961.

Today during #BHM the brothers of AO will like to give praise to Pres. Barrack Obama. Known as the 44th president of the US with an impressive resume created from his college achievements to early adulthood. Fun fact: His name names also means “one who is blessed” in Swahili.
Today during #BHM the brothers of AO want to praise Shirley Anita Chisholm. An American politician, educator, & author. In 1968, she became the first black woman elected to the United States Congress, and she represented New York's 12th congressional district for seven terms.
Today during Black History Month the brothers of Alpha Omicron want to applaud Sir Sidney Poitier. Poitier became the first Bahamian and first black actor to win an Academy Award for Best Actor, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role in Lilies of the Field
Today during #BHM the brothers of Alpha Omicron want to share light on Oscar Devereaux Micheaux, the first Black directory. Born on January 2, 1884 lived until March 25, 1951. He was an African-American author, film director and independent producer of more than 44 films.
Today during #BHM the brothers of AO want to share light on Mr. Macon Boiling Allen. From Indiana, after passing the Maine bar exam, he was granted his license to practice law in Maine on July 3, 1844. Allen thus was the first Black man licensed to practice law in the US
