[ANNOUNCEMENT]

Hello everyone, Hazumi here. As many of you are aware, there has been a lot of discourse within this community- especially in the last few weeks.

Since we are not able to keep up with much of the happenings in here, and I do not want to force it on the moderators to keep tabs on everything that happens, I have made the decision to shut this community down or transfer ownership to any long-standing members who are active in this community.

This community was created in 2022- back when there were many fewer VTubers and many who, like myself, were wanting to meet others and expand their network.

The moderators were all friends who were interested in Twitter's community feature and wanted to help out. At the time, there were far less people, we were less busy, and things were easier to manage.

As time went on and the community grew, moderators grew busy or left VTubing as a whole, and we never expected the growth that this community had. With that, it is near impossible to be attuned to all concerns, reports, etc. and we apologize for that.

There has been a very large influx of reports, disagreements, and issues that have been brought up. Many do not coincide with the rules that we have put in place, and without much context the moderators are only able to go off of reports made.

I apologize if there were any reports not dealt with, or unwarranted bans. Again, with not much context, it has been quite hard for us to keep up. Please do not fault any of the other moderators- I absolutely should have closed the group or transferred ownership to someone with the time and ability to moderate a community ages ago. I was naive to think that a growing community could be maintained with little to no moderation, save for the rules that were set in place and hoping to have everyone follow them.

I do want to thank everyone who has been a part of the community the last 3 years. As I said, we NEVER thought that it would grow to the amount of people in it today. If this community helped you find a friend, or gave you any boost in confidence you may have needed at the start of your journey- then I am happy.

If there are any experience individuals who frequent this community & would be interested in a transfer of ownership, please do let me know. The last thing I would have ever wanted to do is shut down this community. However, since there are little to no moderators able to keep up with well, moderating, it would not be fair to those who no longer feel like this is a safe space.
