@greateranglia We left a small dark teal Tripp hard shell suitcase on the 14:30 Stansted Express from Stansted to Liverpool Street. Where would it be left if found, at Liverpool St Station or Stansted?
Marie Curie was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize. This didn't happen because she herself fought for it -- although she did fight hard the whole way to even get to that point. ๐ฉโ๐ฌ
What happened was that the award was offered to her husband, Pierre. (1/n) ๐งต
@kanayaizq @votedannorris I think the highlight was seeing him officially ousted from his seat beside the candidate in a bean mask. What an utter joy ๐
@STORiCDT @SAMBa_CDT @BeZeroCarbon@RohrbeckC Really great having Aiden, Kristina, Lidia and Matt working on our challenges. It was brilliant having their expertise in environmental extremes and their engagement in the problems was fantastic. They're a credit to the programme!

Delighted to confirm I have received Government approval for Ireland to join @CERN.
CERN is one of the world's largest and most respected centres for scientific research. The benefits for Ireland will be significant. Our application will be considered in December.
@RichyCraven It's sort of like the best before date in food really - like yeah, I acknowledge what you're saying, but yes I'm going to ignore it ๐ I treat it as more of a guideline.

@HMRCcustomers Thanks. The problem is that this will unlikely to be fixed in time for my next payroll which is ridiculously unfair - but not HMRC's fault they've been given incorrect info! ๐
@HMRCcustomers This is it, but my new job where this has been applied is fine. It's my previous job, which has claimed we got paid in May (we did not, but according to HMRC we have) and they terminated us on June 20th. On HMRC it says my contract with them ends April 5th next year and I don't..
@HMRCcustomers I have been told I've underpaid in tax and so my tax free allowance has been drastically reduced. I assume this is because my former employer left us unpaid for our last month's but sent payroll details to HMRC as if we had been paid, but this is not the case.
