Marijuana is legal in Massachusetts, but there are still people living with convictions that hold them back.
That doesn’t sit right with me. That's not justice.
I'm using my executive power to pardon all misdemeanor convictions for marijuana possession in Massachusetts.
This is a meaningful step toward addressing the harm of cannabis criminalization & setting our communities on a pathway to healing.
Our work to transform the criminal legal system is ongoing, but I'm grateful @MassGovernor is taking critical steps.
