@Waterstones Jane Austen, then I'd only put the phone down once Charlotte Brontë called.

A huge thank you to @RodeHeathSchool for inviting me into their classroom yesterday. I had a wonderful time talking about my book Escape From...Boudica's Army and helping the children develop their own Roman stories.

@Mrs_G33k When on author's visits, I don't have the time or opportunity to learn everyone's names. Terms of endearment are an excellent way to address children, it's a shame that it's being taken away. I'll have to get creative when addressing children in the classroom.

An amazing inspiration, my daughter is now reading this book again, she will be a warrior. Fantastic book and fabulous year 4 teachers making the children apart of the era with such enthusiasm @wiskow_julie @SkippyCazza @APateAuthor

Had a fantastic time discussing my research and writing process with @wiskow_julie 's class at @RodeHeathSchool today. They were a fantastic group of kids! Thank you for inviting me.
