As you can see my fan is not on right now, when it’s not necessary to have my fan on, I keep it off. Keeping it on, especially when I’m not home, could be more wasteful then beneficial. This is a great way to save energy! #apesenergy@franklinlorax
Me and my parents often use different types of soils for each plant in order for them to grow as much as they can, making sure that they get the right amount of nutrients every time. @franklinlorax#apesland
These rocks have a high porosity and permeability due to how large they are compared to other materials like sand or soil. However, they have a lower water retention compared to those materials so when this snow melts the water will go straight through! #apesland@franklinlorax
FHS should’ve designed to have more parking spots in the North Lot so students don’t have to park in a snow bank during the winter seasons #apesland@franklinlorax
I try my best to carpool with my family and friends either to sporting events or other activities as much as I can to try to reduce my ecological footprint. #apespopulation#apesintro@franklinlorax

This is my dog Charlie, he is an example of a k-strategist. When dogs have babies they produce few offspring, they treat their puppies with care! #apeseco@franklinlorax
Roads are driving rapid evolutionary change in our environment. Roads cause habitat fragmentation. It’s estimated, a million wild animals die daily in the US due to habitat fragmentation.Wildlife corridors or animal bridges can help prevent these deaths.#apeseco@franklinlorax
It is important to ensure that our water goes through all the steps to ensure it is safe for us to drink. things like filtration, UV Disinfection, screens, and clarifiers.
Reducing the amount of waste we put into rivers nearby decreases the total amount of waste. We need to realize what small things affect not only our bigger bodies of water but the environment as a whole.
We must be careful to limit the waste in our rivers because many of our rivers lead to larger bodies of water where the trash builds up such as in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Our little actions play a larger role on our ecosystem. @franklinlorax#apeswater
Having the water off when you’re brushing your teeth is one of the easiest ways to preserve water. By doing this you could save up to 3-4 gallons of water a day! #apesintro@franklinlorax
