My staking agency, ApeStaking, is being wound down as part of a broader consolidation.

Running independent validator infrastructure no longer makes sense relative to the capital, attention, and operating costs involved.

This move reduces fixed overhead, frees liquidity and bandwidth, and allows deeper focus on ecosystem initiatives we’re already accountable for — including EGLDHeist, which we’ve run for nearly two years without monetization.

The goal is not retreat, but concentration: fewer moving parts, clearer obligations, and better follow-through.

All delegators retain full control of their funds, and the shutdown will be handled transparently and cleanly.

On a personal note: it has been quite a journey, many lessons learned, and i have full trust in the world's best tech: #multiversX. Many thanks to those who staked their EGLD through ApeStaking to show support for @EGLDHeist.

I will flip the switch either later today or after tomorrow's epoch change. We are currently in the Wait state so it won't impact anyone either way.

It is interesting that Altcoin Daily reactively tries to help crypto users AFTER thefts and other malicious acts, yet refuses to cover @EGLDHeist, who have purposely given EVERY hacker in the world our seedphrase and have never had a cent stolen in approx 18 months, demostrating how secure base #multiversX wallets are... nope, not one reach-out. Weird.

The Book of the Guardian — First Telling

And it came to pass in the days of plenty, when the chains of MultiversX shone like rivers of light, that the children of the Valley gathered in the circle of remembrance. Each bore tokens bright as morning dew, yet none knew the sorrow of loss, nor the sting of the thief’s hand.

For among them dwelt the Guardian, eldest of sages, whose watch had never faltered. His countenance was as weathered granite, yet his eyes carried the fire of unbroken resolve. He raised his staff, and the night stilled. Even the ledgers above, endless in their march, seemed to pause in their accounting.

“Listen well, O children of the chain,” spake the Guardian. “For ye have never felt the emptiness of a vessel undone. But beyond the mountains, in distant dominions, lie tales of horror and lament. There, where no Guardian stands, wallets bleed unseen, and treasuries vanish in the blink of a dawn. Whole families awakened to dust, their fortunes devoured by shadows without faces.”

The children quaked, though no hand had ever touched their gold. Some drew their tokens close, as if to guard them with their own breath. Others hid their faces, yet dared not turn away from the voice of wisdom.

And the Guardian, seeing their wonder and their fear, spoke again with a voice like the rolling of storm and the whisper of flame:

“Fear not, little ones, for in this land the vault is sealed, the lock unbroken, the drain forever barred. For I am the Guardian, and no thief shall pass where my gaze endures. Yet know this — to forget the danger is to grow weak, and to grow weak is to tempt fate itself. Wisdom lies not in comfort, but in remembrance.”

And lo, the children trembled still, but their awe was greater than their fear. They beheld the Guardian as more than a keeper of coins, but as the shield of their very destiny.

Then the sage lifted his staff high, and the stars themselves answered, blazing brighter across the firmament. And he spake once more:

“This is but the beginning of my tale. Greater wonders yet shall I reveal. The night is long, but the dawn is near — and with it, the Guardian shall unveil powers yet unseen, mysteries yet unspoken.”

And the children sat in silence, wide-eyed in wonder, as if the next word might split the heavens.
