Gotta love adhd tax. I rented a @PublicStorage unit to store my stuff, super reasonable, $200 a month plus tax. They still charge that for new units.

They’ve increased my rent to $450 a month. Despite the fact they sell new units for my original price.

Riftbound Time Rules Update

China will be trialling a new round timer in their first regional open of 2026 (January 17th-18th) after finding that the proportion of matches completed within 50 minutes was low.

They also say that the new set of rules (see full message below) will be uniformly implemented in Riftbound tournaments globally, so we should expect to see these changes at the Bologna and Las Vegas Regional Qualifiers in February.

Old:
50 minutes + 5 turns

New:
60 minutes + 3 turns
- In the overtime period, a player must lead by 2 points to be declared the winner of the match.
- In the overtime period, if a player's lead is less than or equal to 1 point, the match will be declared a draw.
