@NikSpyratos @stayallive @OndrejMirtes I think docblocks are needed in every php + phpstan codebase (mainly because of PHP arrays), but especially in Laravel/Eloquentl. Without them, it’s way too dynamic for phpstan imho. I literally add docblocks on top of every eloquent model...

@jeffrey_way We use Laravel in a pretty non-standard way: modules, no facades, command/handler instead of jobs.
Opus is pretty good at respecting this. Smaller modules mean smaller context to reason about, maybe that’s a plus. Anyway, it is pretty good our custom setups too...

@davorminchorov The latter one. I avoid limiting columns with select or adding columns through joins when working with models. This way, I can add DocTypes to get at least basic static-analysis support (auto-complete). If I want custom columns, I use custom queries whenever possible.
