@PatrickCPresent @TheHockeyNews I know Thomas/Kyrou are top listing to fit the Ducks scheme and its right but I worry about the price the Blues want. I'd have to imagine 2/3 1st rds plus a player/prospect. I know Ducks have some depth now but I'd to hate to see some folks go.

@PowerPopJeff @pulpoinspace I would need to look I think most folks are missing Gudas re-signing, if he does. Everyone seems to be glossing over him like he's done. VB still might want him back, so if he comes back at 4, and our space is 44, then yeah, 40 is the current space.

@AngelsFaithful @herbertshypeman Happy to help clarify! There's also players who are 1-way contracts (meaning they stay in the NHL no matter what) and others who are a 2-way contract, those are developing players who can get into the NHL through the team and play possibly the whole season.

@AngelsFaithful @herbertshypeman After that they attend training + preseason and if they are not up to the NHL level they can be placed in ECHL or AHL. ECHL is a step below AHL in terms of development, when a NHL player is injured/not performing they may call up a player from the AHL to step in.

@AngelsFaithful @herbertshypeman Depending on when a player was drafted the team has exclusive rights to that player to sign them within 2 years of draft date to an ELC. During that time, they can go develop in the CHL (Canadian Hockey League), College, or EU hockey. After they are done, they can sign an ELC.

@AnaheimDucks Funny enough? Beckett. I'm a huge Cutter fan and love his run this season, but Beckett stepping up and exploding into a 60 point season in his debut was something almost no one predicted, even me. He's been fun to watch and gave this team wins even when they should have lost. 🪣
