This year was full of obstacles, but none have phased us: key roadmap items have been delivered, and EOY feature rollouts are underway, including bonus features going live shortly.
We’re also preparing to launch utilities in the US and UAE, building on 100+ partner offers from those regions already live for UK/EU customers. Global access will be powered by PlutusLite (no KYC), rolling out next and enabling customers to use any personal cards for utilities (e.g. gift cards, miles, and travel), thereby removing unreliable bank settlement rails, an ongoing focus for us.
During the 2025 transition, we planned to reset our outdated services. We fixed the tokenomics with PLUS and terminated the contract in October for several reasons, including the non-delivery of paid-for core banking features such as Apple Pay, and submitted a claim for damages. Following this, we’ve faced several issues, including unilateral restrictions on customer funds ahead of Christmas (cashback, PlutusSwap allocations, and pending gift cards).
I recognise this is a difficult moment for those who rely on our utilities for savings, and I sincerely apologise to everyone affected. Rest assured, we are working with partners to restore utility balances and return any funds held. We remain resilient and focused on execution, including migrating to our new banking service in January, with all additional benefits (e.g. IDA + Metal) preserved for later use. Once resolved and the roadmap delivered, I look forward to being more active online and hosting a meetup to reconnect with the community.
