It’s the first day of the 23-24 year for @MetroSchools students! SRO Wade spent the morning catching up with 6th-8th graders returning to Apollo Middle School & getting a chance to meet new 5th grade students. We hope everyone has a great, safe first day back to school.
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! Our teachers are back and learning new strategies with Kagen Cooperative Learning to prepare for the arrival of our wonderful Astros!!!
Yesterday, all Astros got to participate in our International Day Olympic Pep Rallies today! Hallway decorations, cultural attire, student performances, Olympic events, and lots of smiles filled our hallways today. Great job to all of our performers and participants!
Families, this is a reminder that Progress Reports as well as TNREADY reports were given to students today. If haven't seen this information yet, please be sure to ask your student about them.
A HUGE congratulations to Apollo’s Chorus teacher, Mrs. McGlone on not only winning Teacher of the Year at Apollo, but for being an MNPS District finalist! Anyone who knows her knows how well-deserved this honor is. Congrats!
Good Evening Apollo Families,
Thank you for a successful first two weeks of school. As we begin to settle in, we want to remind everyone of our drop-off and pick-up procedures for car riders. Attached you will find two photos of our car rider line procedures.
#latepost Over the last 2 days, our teachers have had training in A.V.I.D, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports, as well as several other items in preparation for the new school year. Countdown to August 10th continues! GO Astros!
We had a blast today at our annual Popsicles on the Patio events. We loved meeting our new students and see returning faces. We can't wait until August 10th when we are all together again!
