ESPN firing Emmy Award-winning @Realrclark25 while he was on the air is unbelievable. Ryan and I have had our disagreements over some of his takes, but one thing is undeniable—he’s a star Great and a legend at what he does.

The way this was handled was wrong.

Thank God Ryan built The Pivot. @rolandsmartin has preached for years that ownership matters and that creators should build platforms they control instead of depending on networks.

That’s the lesson here. No matter how big you become, don’t let one company own your future. Build your own audience. Own your content. Own your brand.
