Dear @gmcuk, please can you explain your hardline attitude to the resident doctor victims of the MRCP scandal (forbidding them from proceeding with higher training applications), when you are quite happy to have PAs on SpR on-call rotas with no MRCP, nor even a medical degree?

@robprogressive Nobody mentions how much the LA’s are saving by not funding the kids in private education. I read in the US parents get a tax rebate to reflect this. And that’s without thinking about SEN funding costs which are much higher.

@robprogressive Absolutely awful. Had one do that recently in our area too. It is so short sighted- how will the LA’s cope with the influx of kids. Especially SEN of which private schools have a higher proportion. Unfair to kids and teachers both of the school that closed and the LA ones. Stupid

@biztradegovuk Speak to @BiffyClyro - they work really hard to stop overpriced tickets appearing on resale sites and get them taken down. Whereas @taylorswift13 tickets all seem to be bought up by scalpers and then have to pay way over price with risk they don’t work when you get there

@Windsor_Watcher @PolitlcsUK I remember clerking appeals where the panel was hugely prejudiced against a kid who was having to be moved from private to state sector. Not the kids fault. Not good.

@PolitlcsUK Shame they won’t give the people paying for their kids education the £6k the gov aren’t having to spend if the kids were in state school. Some parents have had to resort to private education when state schools have not met their kids needs & make huge sacrifices to do so.
