@HPE I own Cray-1S S/N 53 and contacted HPE in the hope that their archives might contain some information about the history.
Unfortunately, the reply I received was rather disappointing: I was told that I could perhaps get some HP stickers from the public relations department.
There is a new addition to the Apple-1 Registry. An Apple-1 in an original Byte Shop case. Provenance from the former Computer Museum in Boston. I intend to visit the owner in 2025 and take pictures. https://t.co/rEi5uqHVYu #Apple1

Two Apple-1 are added to the Apple-1 Registry. 1st+2nd batch. The owner of both already had an Apple-1 in 79, but it was destroyed in a fire in his house while he was having dinner with Woz. Woz contacted some people to see if anyone wanted to sell an Apple-1. Two sold an Apple-1
Another Apple-1 was found recently and for this Apple-1 I flew to the Bay Area. https://t.co/bM3Q5fJdf4
I visited Stanford University, talked to a professor, visited Daniel Kottke and the owners of the Apple-1, visited Apple Park and met Woz and his wife for dinner.
New found Apple-1 added to the Apple-1 Registry. Called ‘Data Domain’. https://t.co/Ny8G2dgVoj . Up for auction at https://t.co/G5X5gDglvN

"Discovery" of 3 previously unlisted Apple-1 (#96-#98 in the list) Two 1st batch (serial # 01-0081 and one without serial #) and a 2nd batch Apple-1. https://t.co/gUy4NLkuOe #Apple1#Woz#SteveJobs
Another piece of the puzzle in the history of Apple-1 has been found. Fantastic story of the very first 12 Apple-1 in Europe can be read in the Apple-1 Registry. https://t.co/gUy4NLkuOe #Apple1#Woz#SteveJobs
@AAPLcollection Most likely the one at auction and the one from Paul Terrell's Polaroids is the same. Wiring is different, but position of components like the resistors are exactly the same. A little bend here, a bit higher or lower. Every board is unique. Most likely the same board.
@wrljet I completely understand and respect that. Good luck with the commissioning. It's a fascinating computer. I spoke directly to Ray Holt about this device some time ago. This year it was also the subject of a Zoom videochat between Bill Mensch and myself. Both are excellent sources.
@wrljet Not only the JOLT is interesting for me. The Altair 8800 as well. Maybe you can contact me? You can find the contact details on my website https://t.co/WDfRfU30VZ.
Btw, I have a shipping address in the USA and Europe.
@AAPLcollection Indeed, it was one of the first in Europe. But not the first.
A business man from Austria owned the first. This Apple-1 will be listed soon in the @Apple1Registry.
